Every April, the Deep Ellum Arts Festival in Dallas TX turns the entertainment district into one enormous street festival. Six blocks of Main Street, from 2900 to 3400 Main Street, fill with visual and musical artists, with over 100 performers on 6 different stages. The festival started in 1994 on just one block and has continued to expand ever since. It now encompasses all different kinds of art and performance, showcasing art and food that reflect Dallas today!
It is an adult-oriented festival, with late-night fun, lots of loud music, and easy access from our hotel. While kids are welcome, there are no events catered to them. Combining festival events and concerts with a stay in one of our unique rooms make for a romantic, and music filled, weekend.
One of the unique features of the Deep Ellum Arts Festival is the famous Pet Parade! On Sunday afternoon of the festival, hundreds of pet owners bring their best friends to walk in the parade and compete for different prizes, including Best Costume, Best Personality, and Best Trick.
